Hey guys!I’ve got a slow cooker meal that is going to take you to flavor town, these pineapple asian turkey lettuce wraps. So, without wasting any time move forward to the slow cooker pineapple chicken’s ingredients.
- Ground turkey breast
- 1 1/2 cup shaved brussels sprouts
- 1 cup of diced mushrooms
- 1 cup of diced red bell pepper
- 1 cup of carrots shreds
- 1/2 cup of diced onion
- 1/2 cup of water chestnuts
- 1 1/2 tbs of diced garlic
- 1/2 cup of broth
- 1/2 cup of pineapple juice
- 3 tbs of soy sauce or coconut amino
- 4 tbs of ketchup
- 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup of crushed pineapple
- 2 tbs sriracha which is optional
- Some salt(according to your desire)
For meal prepping, I add everything to a large freezer safe bag. Ground turkey, shaved brussels sprouts,mushrooms, red bell pepper, carrots, onion,water chestnuts which are my favorite. Garlic, broth, pineapple juice, soy sauce or coconut amino which is a soy sauce substitute. Ketchup, pineapple chunks, crushed pineapple,sriracha which is optional but pairs super well and gives it a nice kick and some salt.
Now remove the air, seal it up and refrigerate or freeze. Of course, feel free to get creative with your favorite veggies. Add everything to the slow cooker, break up the meat and cover to cook. Cook on low for 6 hours. There your recipe is ready to serve.
Its time to serve my recipe. I can serve this as is with lettuce wraps or I could serve it on a salad or even with a bed of rice or cauliflower rice.
